Clutch and brake pedals

Clutch and brake pedals
I'm putting a ls2 out of a GTO in my Chevy II wagon. I've got all the pedals from the donor vehicle and of course the gas pedal will be put in as it's a dbw. I'm curious what most folks are doing on swaps as far as matching the pedals. Do you cut the clutch and brake pedals off and reweld them onto the existing pedals or? I don't think I need to swap the complete setup in the car I just want matching stuff.

If I understand you, you are keeping the GTO dbw pedal and pad, and want your existing wagons clutch and brake pedal to match the GTO dbw pedal pad? If so I took the clutch and brake pedal pads off the 2006 GTO pedals and used the 2006 GTO pedal arm bases and took measurements and just cut down my existing 1966 GTO pedal arm bases down with a die grinder and slipped the 2006 GTO pedal pads over my 1966 GTO pedals.
It was slow going as I intentionally left the pedal bases a tad bigger, it was a bear to slip the pads on, but they are on extremely tight.
