Default brake line to brake hose adapter.

I'm almost done with swapping in the 98-02 Camaro brakes into my LS1 powered 67 GTO. I'm having a problem finding the information on exactly what size fitting I need to adapt my stock 67 GTO lines to the 98-02 brake hose fitting. Can anyone help me out? Also need to know if I need to change out my stock disc brake GTO proportioning valve to properly work?

I surprised you are having a problem, mine hooked right up. Try getting the 4th Gen F-body adapter that plugs into the brake booster. That will have the right size hose fitting and should plug into your booster.

The threads on the brake line ends should be the same , if not get the male threaded fittings from the front of the camaro , and install on the gto lines , reflare required . If your gto had front discs "unlikely" , and the camaro had drums in back , then no need to change combo valve , its advisable to change the combo valve if they do not match , imparitive on trucks with master lower than calipers or wheel cylinders.

You could have 2 types of thread there. The older being 3/16 inverted flare which is 3/8-24, the Fbody brakes might be metric? 10x1.0 bubble flare, maybe. There are adaptors for this, metric to SAE. Google search.

Earls sells brake lines with any combination of ends. Like someone said the stockers are almost certainly SAE fittings while the calipers may or may not be metric. I would replace the rubber hoses with stainless ones.
