BMC is what I was riding...
Now the bike just hangs on the wall. When I get this truck finished, I will take the bike down and clean it up. Its been too long without a ride.
Thank you. I talked with Brian Tooley and he came up with one of his grinds.... Not sure of the lobes he used, but the numbers are,

I got the drivers side spark plug wires done...
An old Nascar trick to seperate the spark plug wires
I also got the AC lines run, just need to get the ends crimped.
Now I AM taking a couple days off on this! Its Fathers Day weekend and I plan to hang out with my family.

I took a break from working on the truck last night. My good friend Joe has a young son who like to work around my house. He will come over, do yard work, help us move **** around, clean up the garage etc etc. In turn I pay him in cash or comic books. Ill have to admit, its pretty cool going into the comic book stores and seeing all the cool stuff.
Anyway, Jacob, asked me if he could help me work on my truck. He said he was interested and wanted to learn about tools, engines, welders etc etc.
I was floored! I told him, "HECK YA you can help!!"
So instead of scrapping the old 4.3/3 speed. I had him remove my SBC off the engine stand, put it on an engine cradle, and then put the 4.3 on the engine stand. He was freaking out using the engine hoist as it tends to stick sometimes while lowering it down. I showed him how to adjust for that, make sure the chain is secure, correct bolts were used etc etc
I will say, it was pretty cool showing & telling him about what tools do what, and when to use a "cheater" wrench and other tricks Ive learned over the years. He seemed to enjoy working in the garage and asked me when can he come back.
In this era of "Kids these days'' Im excited to be introducing him to the automotive world.
He is a Sophomore in high school, made the Varsity football team and has a 3.9GPA! One cool dude for sure.

It is cool to have someone working with me in the garage. He is the type that will stop what he is doing and ask questions if he not sure about something.
Hedman 45690, 1-7/8" w/3" collector.
Ill be running 3" exhaust with a 3" X section, but Im up in the air on what mufflers to use.
I have a set of Borla's 3" that came off another project, but was looking at Spin-Techs, just because not a lot of people around here run em. Also, Ill have cut-outs to open up at cruise ins and racing, so the quieter the better.

So I got a couple things done last night. Wired up the IC pump, grounded some sensors, ran the engine harness and mounted the Flex Fuel sensor.
I ran the sensor in the -6 return line.
I have more fittings and other things coming in tomorrow. So hopefully I can get this fired up soon!!
Things left to do:
-Finish AC return line & wire connections & fill AC system
-Get and mount new inner fenderwells
-mount up ECM
-mount and plumb in fuel regulator
-mount elect fan on rad, mount rad and then wire
-remove old G-Bomb & 2.73 airplane gear
-Install new Eaton Posi & 4.11 gears
-get new driveshaft made
-Fab up DS loop
-Decide on what mufflers and then fab up 3" exhaust w/Cut outs
-Get seat recovered and re-installed
-Im sure a whole bunch of stupid little things I forgot.....

Took a bit of trimming, but I got the SC idler pulley mount fitted up.
Got the PS res mounted, PS lines run, wired in the ECM harness. Mounted the fuel pressure regulator and ran the remaining fuel lines.
Finished up the AC lines.
Mounted the Black Magic Electric fan to the radiator and then dropped the assembly into for trial fitting.
My long list of, "stuff to do" is shrinking and Im getting excited/nervous anticipating a "fire up" day. Although, Im probably about 2 weeks out with the remaining stuff needed to be done.
