I'm thinking of rebuilding a gen 1 Camaro or firebird and putting a ls2 or ls3 in it (most likely an ls2 for money reasons but I'm hoping for an ls3) with a t56 transmission. I'll be adding new independent suspension with wider more sticky tires. Maybe around 285 in the rear with Michelin pilot super sports or the counterpart tires from Pirelli. With this set up what times can I get on a good launch from 0-60?

Yes stock. I might add a few upgrades. But no more than 30-40 hp so yes basically stock. Keep in mind I'm also going to add full independent front and rear suspension an the wider, more sticky tires.

Gear ratio effects this as well, but I would guess low 4 second range.
