Hey Todd I am searching for those 12" slotted ET mags and some Mickey Thompson N50's on Ebay right now-LOL
Color is Midnight Pearl Blue with 100 grams of black added to darken it up a bit.
The car is not at its final ride height, still have to add interior, glass, radiator, hood, front bumper etc... once it all together I can set the final height. Andrew is correct lowering a GM A-body more than 2" in the rear will raise the already high roll center and have an adverse effect on ride and handling. Rear tire is 27" tall vs a lot of guys running 25.5" tires so it will look higher. Here are some pics on the trailer when I brought her home yesterday- the stance will be "Right" once I get it all put together.
Thanks for your comments!

I'm not so sure I would lower it, though once it is done with the interior, etc. it will settle a bit, which is why I would not mess with it right now. It looks like pure NASTY as is!! And I'm totally loving that color! JUST the right shade of blue! The wheels are even right for it! Carry on!

Tom and I are good, he loaned his car for use in the development of the Hooker 68-72 A-body LS swap system and I very much appreciated that. The car looks great...but I'm still going to give him crap until I see it in person at LSFest (be it this year or 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022...).

Fortunately until last week my wife has not see the car since I got it back from Todd 2.5 years ago so I am good there! Through this build I have had a lot of help from friends and made some new ones along the way and I consider Todd one of them. The system He designed and Holley manufactured made it easy to do the LS swap and I am grateful they used my car for the R&D. If it's not ready for LS Fest I won't be disappointed there is always next year and I will still get to have a great weekend with my friends and see some awesome rides. We will be working to get the car ready I am still pushing forward!

I hope I'm not just speculating in saying that Todd is a definite asset to Holley/Hooker. As I said, I think one reason is that he is on these forums to stay in touch with end users, making sure the goods are indeed good! lol If/when I ever do a swap project, Holley/Hooker parts WILL be specified, because I know they WORK.

Car or no car, it will be good to shoot the **** with you at LS Fest again this year Tom. I also share the feeling of friendship that developed from that project and that’s a a bonus to the satisfaction I get developing these systems. I’ll see you, Pete and Andrew at LS Fest and I’ll tell you all the secret **** I’ve been working on at Holley that you can’t tell anyone here about without me getting fired. I’m case the CEO of Holley comes across this post, I’m joking of course!
