Lol Thanks dcd!
I made up my mind before I started there was no way i was cutting up the spoiler and latch if i could move it all forward. In my .02 the movable spoiler makes the car, but a duck tail is great to but not worth $1500!

Got the airfilter made up and shortened the maf wires

Still have some wiring to tie down under the "hood" but so far most of it is done.

Cranks no start/fire.
Yep one was a code dealing with the map the other was so generic I couldn't make heads or tales out of it.

That sucks, probably something simple but not easily found.. I would think the MAP sensor would just cause idling issues and running rich or lean. Is the vacuum port running all the way to the master cylinder and not pinched or leaking?

BTW, didn't see a rail mount fuel gauge on your build or recall if you modified the fuel pump. How do you have the fuel pump wired and any idea on the pressure it's putting out?

GM Performance ecu and harness so no vats but thanks
.
I am using the pcar fuel pump as is, i checked it today and key on its 52-53.
Heres the weird part after putting the map on i got it to start once but it wouldn't start again

I sprayed some carb cleaner in and it started and the real crazy part is it kept running and running good (58 psi fp).
Let it idle up to temp and shut it off and it wont start again till you hit it with cleaner?????

So is it the cam or crank sensor that controls the injections? Both are new but i know thats not a sure thing.

Crank sensor in the back of the motor triggers off the reluctor wheel to give the PCM signal and looks at the CAM sensor. I believe the injectors are wired with constant 12v for the hot wire and is pulsed negative to open the injector. You can check the negative signal to see if it's not pulsing.

I didn't think the P-car pump could push 50psi...Have you put a volt meter on the pump to see if there is a voltage drop when car won't start? Maybe the Porsche ECU is shutting it down.

My testing so far is the fp is fine cranking or running no less than 52psi no more than 59 ish.
But after your description of the crank and cam sequence im wondering if even though it is cranking great that is not seeing enough cranking rpm to pulse the injectors.
BUT when i hit it with some cleaner it will start and that much more rpm will be enough to pulse them and it will run. Thoughts????

Should be easy enough to verify with a test light connected to an injector .

Could it be a crank reluctor mismatch? Is the engine a LS2 with 24x crank reluctor and a GMPP harness and ECM looking for a 58x signal?

Its a 09 suppose to be a 58.
Got a snap on solex (?) coming by tomorrow so we can look at the system in live operation.
The engine had been running great, ran it one evening for a friend and the next morning no start........
