Awesome Project!!! and +1 on Andrew's suggestion of NiCopp. I used it years ago on a vintage 911 I built, and won't use anything else. Super nice finish, easy to work with, no obvious work-hardening, hand bendable, easy to flare the list goes on.

Good luck with your deadline!!
Look forward to some video

Got the motor and trans dropped in. Have been doing a ton of little stuff as well. Not happy with the brake lines and prop valve. So will redo that. Pinned the crank for future plans. Installed the transgo HD-2 kit, corvette servo and aluminum accumulator pistons in the trans. Motor and trans fit great with the CBR stuff

Didn't have a good plan of attack today so I just played with a few things to see what fits and what needs to be ordered. Need to change out the included multec injector connectors for the ev6 style. Have those connectors but the metal pin is different, so ordering them because I'd rather not add a solder joint. . Also need a 4 pin connector to replace the truck 6 pin connector for the throttle body. This whole ecu and harness setup wasn't available with those two things being different. Easy fix though

Made a new prop valve bracket and re-did the lines to clear the coils and fuel rail cover. Cut some spacers and mounted the throttle pedal. And tossed a header in there to see how it fit. Tons of clearance. Very happy with them. Not sure about the o2 bung placement. It's right at the end of a primary tube and the first part of the collector. Read that the Holley likes it further downstream. Need to read some more to confirm

Lots of pics because I like build threads with them when I'm researching

Odds and ends getting done. Was able to fit the digital dash in the stock cluster. Lots of wiring being ran and figured out. I have a lot of studying to do on the Holley stuff. Also got the trans cooler lines routed

Wiring the Holley is a cake walk. I have a Dominator on my Cougar. Just need a basic understanding of good wiring practices and some basic wiring tools.

Lots of miscellaneous stuff done. Only thing worth mentioning is the Holley retrofit fuel pump

Fuel pump and hat installed to support 750hp. Internally regulated, so I just have to run the -6 line up to the fuel rail. Very happy with it

That being said, the instructions were wrong. I got one or the first batches of these so that's ok. I'm going to call Holley and make sure they fix them

If you're bored, have a look:

Basically you measure the depth of your tank. Say it's 10". Then you subtract that number from their number in the chart to establish the length of the feed line and mounting bracket

The problem with that is as follows. Going off their 13" baseline number...

If you subtract your 10" then the hose should be 3" long. Ok. But what if your tank is deeper?

Say it's 11" deep. Subtract your 11 from their 13 and your hose would be 2" long. How could the hose and mounting bracket be shorter for a deeper tank??????

So I just had to do the measuring on my own and figure it out. Our tank is barely deep enough to run this big 450lph pump because of the depth needed. They say minimum is 7 1/2" and ours is 8" at the front there but that's really the minimum

Yeah, it's huge. It's the tru cool max truck cooler

Pretty much at stand still until the revised passenger side header arrives. Had some clearance issues. So I've been working on a bunch of misc stuff, wiring and knocked out the cold air intake box

Pretty self explanatory from the pics. This is version 1. I'll make some adjustments and build another with one main piece that's the sides and then antop and bottom. Need to order another piece of plastic to make a lid. And line the edges with foam to seal it up

12x12 1/8" ABS plastic
90 degree brackets
Aluminum rivets
Airaid 4" intake tube
K&N filter. (One pictured is a cheap 3 1/2" laying around)

Jig saw worked great to cut it. And a file to make it straight and smooth

I bought the same 4" intake tube, I'll be watching your progress. Nice job on the filter box. Are you going to get the piece of tube they make for the MAF meter or have you got a way figured already?

Sorry, didn't see this. No MAF. Dominator is speed density

Looks like the passenger header will be here early next week. Plan to break in the motor and start tuning next weekend if all goes smoothly. Only a few small things left

Highly recommend the 4 speed hump and 8" Lokar shifter. Worked out perfect and couldn't be happier. First two pics are park. 3rd pic is 1st
