I do believe that in the stock configuration, the vacuum to the bypass was controlled through a vacuum solenoid. I don't know the exact strategy that was used by the stock programming, but GM did it for a reason. I think the LS9 was done the same way. There was some discussion on the Holley support forum about this.
I am not saying one way or the other is the right way, I am just wondering why GM did it that way...If there is a good reason for it, you can easily implement the same strategy with the Dominator.

Andrew,
I appreciate the tips and things to watch for. The electrical piece is a safety device , and only used on cts-v and zl1's. It's used to to lower boost when the computer demands it for things like knock or high IAT's.
It will function properly with just vacuum reference. I suppose that would be something cool to figure out and let the Holley control though as a safety net

Picked up the LS3 heads and this little guy today. Heads go to the machine shop tomorrow for a valve job and will go on next weekend with a stock LS3 intake
Sadly the blower will go on the shelf for a while. Rear end is next, 3" exhaust after that. Then collect all the expensive parts for the LSA install. CTS-V front drive kit, ZL1 lid, coolant tank fofor the trunk, injectors, etc
