I thought I also saw you mention you were keeping your stock intake manifold from the truck. From what I've seen/read/told that this wasn't possible with a stock hood and K-member. That I needed an f-body oil pan and ls1 intake. Have you seen otherwise? If you have this would save me time and money since I have a truck manifold too. I guess once I put it in the car it'll be pretty obvious though.
Hey man...
I was planning on a cowl hood regardless .. since i like the look and my stock hood is dented so i dont mind the clearance issues...
the truck intake makes proven torque over a LS1 for example and i dont want to spend good $ for another intake since my truck one is just fine.

regarding the oil pan i went with THIS
this should clear all K members and that kit is cheaper than a F body kit

Im still trying to work out new edge gauges, The volt, fuel level, oil and coolant are easy. VSS shouldn't be hard if you keep the factory PCM and the tach is the one thats getting me.

The oil gauge is a dummy gauge on these cars, any oil pressure over 6 PSI places the needle in the middle of the gauge, anything under 6 PSI and it reads notthing.

Assuming you keep the factory harness in the car, Fuel and Volt will work right off the bat. Ill post up guides on where to pull the oil, coolant, VSS and tach when I wrap mine up.

I think OP is doing this on a mega budget, but it would be much easier to use a 94-98 cluster.

and i go on accordingly ahaha

so far .. im waiting on the adapter mounts developement of HOOKER and see how they look.

has anybody used the UPR with stock K Memeber.. i only read they work but i actualy talked to UPR and they said they never tried it out themselves.. only with there K Member.
Cause if they work im wondering what headers ? and what tranny crossmember to have it leveled right ?

Hey guys..
i scored a 4L80e for 100$ from my offroad buddy who dont care about 2 WD trannies for his Rock climbers ..lol.. (One mans trash ...)
we not sure if its good to be honest, but by knowing 4L80e s are pretty bullet proof, so i will slam it in with the motor and find out before i possibly looking into rebuilding ...im pretty sure its good.

Does anybody know if a LS3 Radiator/eFan combo fits in the SN95 ?
(got one lined up as well)??

Further... does anybody has a lead on reasonable priced headers for the SN95 = Stock KMEMBER?
the new hooker/holley stuff is nice but i will not put 1000$ on a 200$ motor in a 350 $ car lol.
So ebay headers would do it and im not worried about banging them to fit!?
anybody?

I'm not sure if they will work the stock k member, I've seen mostly with aftermarket one, worth a shot though.

Stampede.

Stampede.
After considering Hookers LS swap mounts (not launched yet an my preproduction option didnt came through)and reading much about possible clearnace issues with the stock Kmember in many regards im really reconsidering the AJE K Member. At least this will fit well, motor sits right, tranny crossmembers are available my oilpan fits for sure and i will have different header options as well
The Kember is arround 280$ mounts are 70$ and the headers are like 300$ so with all of this i am way bellow the HOOKER LS MUSTANG HEADER option which is 900$ by itself.

Anybody here sells AJE stuff and can get a better price than the usual retailers?

I think for the money aje stuff is the way to go. That's what I used when I put the sbc in my mustang.
