Default LS1 Coil cover attaching hardware

Does anyone know where to get the little studs that screw into valve cover that the OEM style LS1 coil covers snap onto?

I am curious how many are used to mount the coil covers? I see three on each side of my motor, is that correct?

Let me check and see if I have some left over from my LS swaps.

I will PM you if I do.

Can someone explain how the coil covers mount to the engine? Is it just the 3 studs in the pic above? Seems unlikely since they're in the same plane.

If I recall correctly they hook under the fuel rail, then snap down on the outside on the studs.

Default Coil covers

For what it's worth dept. the valley covers on an LT1 engine were about the same and were listed under engine electrics.

They are just holes molded into the covers that snap onto those studs.

I just got a pair of LS1 covers from Jegs last night. The right side cover hits the stock 2000 F-body throttle cable bracket. Does anyone know if the Lokar TCB-40LS14 bracket (double tapped for cruise control) will clear the coil cover without trimming? I'm fairly certain the single tapped version would clear, but I'd like the option to add cruise later.

sweet. does anyone have an old set of broken covers that I might be able to buy to salvage the mounting points? I could scab them onto the underside of the covers I bought and probably make something work.
