Default swapping DBW in 2001-2002

Just picking some brains if possible-

I have a 2001 RCSB sierra 5.3/4l60.

It's about time to build a motor for it and I personally like DBW.

I'm wondering if anyone knows the parts list from the 2001-2002 suburbans and escalades that have DBW needed to make my truck DBW using OEM parts.

Is the firewall any different? or does the DBW harness pass through the same hole the cable passes?

Anyone know what pedal/tac/throttle body is used?

Where is the tac mounted? and what about wiring harnesses? Dash harness different? Under hood harness? I guess the engine harness just has a few more wires, although the IAC may be able to be reproposed.

Does BCM need to be reprogrammed?

I don't want to swap the traction control bits, just DBW.

TIA

You can find part numbers (pedal, TB & TAC) for an 02 escalade at Rockauto.
You'll need to compare schematics and pinouts between the 01 5.3 and DBW LQ9. But yeah, changing over to DBW changes a lot of wiring.
You can get a pedal/TAC harness from vendors like EFIconnection.
Have you considered keeping the cable TB and swapping over the 5.3 TB? No wiring or programming changes.

The DBW setups were 1 year only for 02 then 03 to 06 is all compatible. If you get the TB, Pedal, Tac Module, and harness from the junkyard expect to pay around 100 bucks. On Ebay you will pay significantly higher....

as the other poster said you will be changing quite a bit of wiring... I just don't see it being worth all the trouble tbh
