Hello all. I'm looking at an ls3 dropout for my e36, but before I pull the trigger I want to make sure I can have any VATS systems disabled. It's from a 2010 manual camaro. I'm having trouble finding whether it's possible or if I'd need the steering column and key to make it work - more hassle than it's worth. I'd rather not pay for a stand-alone ecm solution if I already have everything in hand.

yes you can turn off vats in that controller.
