Default Camaro Water Pump Spacer for Truck Accessories - Feedback?

Has anyone used the water pump spacers to mount a Camaro water pump to a motor with truck accessories? One of the searches turned up a product from ICT Billet. Considering my water pump is shot, I'd kind of like to switch to the Camaro pump for the way the hose outlet is situated.

I have an L92 motor out of an 2007 Escalade(truck). I installed a 2010+ Camaro water pump and the spacing was just fine. Not sure if this is what you are talking about or not.

did you just do a 2010 pump w/o spacers? i was looking at a 98-02 pump that would require the spacers. I'll do a little more research. The motor it would go on is a LQ9.

On Edit: HOLY CRAP, from AutoZone a 2010 camaro pump is $445!

VVT automatic models got similar-to-truck-spacing; that is why his 2010 Camaro pump worked.

That is Vet PS/ALT but the bracket is spaced off the head 1.5 inches to line up belts.

The spacers work. I ran the spacers with a 2000 Camaro water pump and truck balancer. Also ran the Camaro alternator bracket with 3/4 spacers.

LS3 or L99 Camaro waterpump has the same spacing as the truck accessories. No need for spacer

This is only true for the 2010+ Camaro application. The Corvette LS3 does not have the right spacing for truck accessories.

I used Dirty Dingo spacers to put a 2002 camaro waterpump on my LQ9 running truck brackets and harmonic balancer. It has worked like a charm on my 1966 GTO for almost 26,000 miles.

Do you have to change the tensioner with the 2010 pump? For that matter, either of the pumps?

Thanks for the p/n info Andrew.

I was trying to figure out how you dealt with your steam vent, did you run it to that joint in the upper hose by the bend?

The goal is to try to keep as many off the shelf replacement parts as possible. The spacers have a built in steam vent, otherwise, I figure I have to do something custom.

Also, was there a tensioner change necessary for that pump?

If you go the 98-02 F-Body Pump Route, We sell a ton of these Dirty Dingo spacers for use with truck spacing:

Thanks for the replies. I am using the dirty dingo alt-ps relocation kit, so I wonder what impact, if any that has on tensioners etc. with respect to either pump really.

After looking at it again, I'm not thinking there is an impact to the tensioner aside from replacing the one for the L99 on the 2010 pump. I'm assuming the idler pulley stays the same and right now, I think I'm using a 78" belt with the DD relocation setup.
