Slow and steady progress. Trans finally showed up. Sure doesn't look like much. Maybe just lacks bling, lol. But it s a fully built stage 4 4l80e. Awaiting the motor still for mock up...any day now.
I'm open to all suggestions and or FYI s. I'm no trans expert and opening up yet another chapter in my life and mechanical abilities with this build. feel free to throw any tips or suggestions

So I'm updating my thread out of pure boredom! I also wanted to delete sum photos from my phone and put them on my computer. Anyways, finished up plumbing the power steering system, catch can, the oil feed and return line, and the coil packs/wires. Also trimmed out my core support for all the turbo related crap...the turbo, radiator, and intercooler going in next. Just waitin on the new fan shroud from entropy. I called up and orderd the exact same set up for my radiator, but I needed the fans reversed(driver side fan mounted high, passenger fan mounted low) so I can move the radiator over and accommodate the turbo. I'm going to notch the fender panel slightly and tuck it in there. Its starting to get harder and diificult to make progress. I'm pressed for time and everything from hear on out is custom. good news is my parts pile is rapidly diminishing, and my never ending summit orders are getting smaller.

Bumper barely fit. Its obvious fab guy never even mounted it when he redid the coldside. Loser! The charge pipe on drivers side blocks the turn signal. I ll redo it correctly myself now. 2steps forward, 1step back. Think im gunna take a break from it upfront n work on gettn new floor pan n frame rails moved in next. Mike jus picked my car up this morning and is gettn started on the floor next week. Im excited for progress.

Big Thanx to SNS member 67ls6spd aka Mike. He has been working on my nova as of lately. We started out by tackling the floor pan. Its been patched up n junk as it is. Ultimately after it and the trans tunnel are completed, we ll be moving the rear framerails inward to accommodate a set of 15" wheel tubs. So here is where we are at as an update

As another piece of the puzzle comes together...my Grill has been refinished by non other than George Lucas of GTL polishing in Jackson,nj. This is great. He did the unthinkable and brought it back to life! I'm pleased with the work.

2 steps forwards, 1 step back. Progress none the less. Just left mikes'(67 ls6spd) shop. Snapped some pics of the new floor plan, trans tunnel, and final seat brackets. Still all a work in progress. Started cuttn out the tubs for the super mini tub stretch that's coming up. New frame rails, subframe connectors, and crossmember materials on their way!

Lookn lke this is gunna be final ride height and wheel placement outback. Rocker panel is level as of now. May try to lower it for a slight rake in the front if the TCI clip allows. Looks like we are gunna order up a rear end housing 47 5/8"AF to AF. The wheels are 18x12s w/5.25" BS if anyone is logging numbers!
Already orderd rear brakes-Wilwood 13" D/S w/4 piston calipers and parking brake kit. I was gunna cheap out and order up the 12" kit as I'm sure it ll be fine and look great, but to heck with it, go big or go home sofar on this build.
