Ly6 swap startup issues

Ly6 swap startup issues
Hi all,
My name is Magnus and I´m working on a buggy/Wrangler rig using an Ly6 that I´m having trouble starting up.
2007 Ly6
2008 6L80
Pedal came with engine
Factory harness
E38 flashed by Vengance racing to delete VATS & cats
Standalone external fuel pump
Starter via pushbutton bypassing the harness
MAF from a newer truck but rewired to match my pinouts
Im trying to start the engine on a bench without any belt accessories & O2 sensors without any luck. it cranks & fires up every time but dies right away
Ive tested the injectors, grounds, pedal moves the throttle body, spark is there & fuel pressure is 58psi but still no luck.
I´m running out of ideas to test here and if you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it....
Thanks

Do you have the MAF installed in the intake stream? I had that problem. Installed it, broom, broom.

Thanks for the input guys but still no luck. the tuner has confirmed the VATS are deleted and the MAF is on my intake.
Is is possible that the standalone fuel pump and the standalone starter wiring is causing issues? would that have to be programmed out somehow? I have not tried hooking up a fake starter relay as someone suggested.
Thanks and please share your ideas...

Make sure that the tune was adjusted for the MAF sensor you are running now. I've seen an issue where the MAF sensor (LS3) was installed facing the wrong direction and it would shut down the engine after a few seconds.

vats disables your injectors after 4 or 5 cycles , if it runs while you are squirting start fluid in it , and dies when you stop , my first suspect is VATS , its bit me several times , had tuners swear it was off , when it was not
anouther way to know is noid lights , remember vats works on the GROUND side

Are you using the MAF that came with the engine/wiring harness originally? There is a switch of wires between a truck harness/MAF and a card style MAF that kept my swap from running.
Turns out the pink and black wires needed to be switched on the MAF connector due to changing from the LY6 screen style MAF to an LS7 card style MAF. The computer was not getting a MAF signal as a result.

Hi guys,
I did meet my tuner which confirmed that VATS was removed and he recommended I run the starter through the ECM instead of the standalone starter circuit I have been using, so now I have the two ignition voltages hooked up to pinout 19 & 47 and added a start relay controlled by pinout 52.
for some reason the ECM does not put out any voltage to the starter-enable-control vire when I trigger the start signal to the ECM.
Do you know what the ECM needs before sending start signal to the start relay?
Transmission is hooked up, the brake switch wires are hooked up, transmission is in park....
Thanks for your input
