Default LQ4 to TH400

I know this has been covered a million times, and I have read most of it, but still unsure the final verdict as I've seen contradicting info.

2005 Lq4 with flat flexplate

Needing to mate with a TH400 with UltraBell and sbc converter.

Do I need and spacer?
What else is needed done to make this happen?

Thanks

Should bolt right up. Only thing is u will need to enlarge the holes in the flexplate for the converter bolts.

The flat flywheel will need the spacer and longer bolts. I went to autozone and got a 4l80e flyweel which came with the spacer. Bolted right up to my th400/ultrabell and didnt even have to enlarge the torque converter bolt holes.

If it's flat with the spacer you should be good to go.
