I used the one from an f body I cut the 5 wire mass air flow out of the harness and used the 2 wires that used to be part of the mass air flow and wires up a 2 wire iat from an f body and welded a bung inline to screw it into

I used one from an LT1 car in the Pick n Pull, grabbed the sensor and pigtail with about a foot of wire. You can use a rubber grommet to mount it in the intake tube if going n/a but may want a more secure mounting for boost.

On the 6.0L I put into a 1987 G20 van, I put a small hole directly in the rear rubber panel of the filter and pressed in a Vortec 350 IAT and connector. Honestly it is probably the same IAT as the LT1 but the Vortec engines 4.3-350 are much easier to find in the yard than the LT1. A lot of mid-late 90s GM FWD 4cylinder and V6 cars use a similar IAT as well.

appreciate all the input!
It's pin 25 & 57 from my green pcm connector. just ordered the 2 wire IAT pigtail and I'll prob order a sensor from ICT billet. they've got one with threads for $20 that says it's good for turbo setups as well.
