Default 02 s10 extreme ls1 swap
Wondering how much hp a stock s10 rear end would take. doing ls1 swap t56 6 speed and wondering if I take care can I swap gears and drive with stock rear end.thx jon

Mine's doing fine. It cries oil through the girdle holes, but it's still gearing. That said, I couldn't 60 foot if I wanted to, even with the 295 tires. So leave it alone, but don't expect to tree anyone.

As long as your not putting drag radials you'll be okay. That being said, I don't know why anyone would build a truck, and not use the power, but hey, thats a whole different thread.
