thats what i like safetys and also less boxes ( boost controller ect )

i was thinking 300 for both maybe 400?

so i put the holley on the next buy because i just got a good deal on ATL fuel cell for my car ! lol but i did post up the harness and pcm

Been working my *** off on this thing. Bought a ati superdamper and moved my oil drain to the timing cover for my
turbo. I like this set up better.

Oh, and we have a runner!!!

fired right up, sounds a little different from my 4.8. I have some small things to button up but so far so good.

Gen3.5 5.3, rings gapped .28 top and .30 bottom, ss2 cam and pac 1218’s still, used the 862’s off my 4.8 (later 862’s no notch) didn’t want to chance the 706’s, ls9 head gaskets and China studs. Great oil pressure,
hopefully it lasts!

Thanks man. We are going to watch some heads up racing here in a few. Will button up all the small crap tomorrow along with getting my garage looking more like a garage instead of a Ls murder crime scene.

Ill probably get ahold of my tuner Monday and see when I can get it in.

car was only down a total of 15 days....sure felt like 1.5 years lmfao

15 days is a hell of a turn around. I am going on a year now that my car has been not driven on the streets. Installed a motor just to sell it and use another motor lol still sitting gutted out in the parking lot at my work

Going to get ahold of my tuner today, this thing is lean lean lean.

It’s all back together and cleaned up. Great oil pressure, no leaks, no weird noises. Just ready to race this damn car.

I did notice my tires are getting close to done. I’m just going with a bias ply slick next time. Track prep at my local track is terrible and there’s really no “street car” events local to me so why not. The one race I went to this past weekend was a no prep small tire race. Seen one guy in a nova too clean to no prep with smack a wall on radials, I don’t see how anyone got down that track on radials....

but its a gen 3 block and all just you put gen4 rods?

btw sold my harness for 300 and thats going into the Holley funds LOL but sadly out of stock untill end of july! well not sadly gives me time to do other things meanwhile i also save up the funds

It’s a gen4 with black crank sensor, 24x reluctor wheel, cam sensor behind intake. That’s how it came. I guess it’s a switch over year motor.

Thats awesome on the harness, gives me hope for getting something out of mine when I sell it

It was only showing 575 on the dyno but I don’t believe those numbers.

When I was running 9.80’s I was only making (according to the dyno) 525. Every calculator I’ve used online says 625ish to take a 3100lbs car into the 9’s at 136mph

Yeah his dyno is pretty far off. My car with the old turbo was for sure making more then the 525 It said it was making. Lol thats why I don’t care about dyno numbers, track tells the truth
