Got a little done on the car today....

tranny cooler lines done and 90s on the water pump. The oem fittings ran straight into the side of my hotside is the reasoning behind the fittings. Oh and I did get my rear brake hoses all buttoned up too. Itís getting there!!!

Quick question for you th400 guys.

I need to order a new yoke, is my output shaft a standard short tail shaft car output shaft? Want to make sure I get the right one so I can measure for a drive shaft.

thinking this may be the yoke I need. May go with a sonax though

Looking absolutely sick. I'm loving it. I like the cooler in the back. I had the same thing happen with my hot side and water pump. I just used barbed 90's with some hose when I did it. It wasn't until after I realized how these water pumps come apart and can be threaded. Oh well it works for now but after seeing yours maybe I'll redo it haha

Just grab you a 1/2 npt and 3/8npt Tap and your good to go. Donít have to drill them out or anything. -an fittings would have looked nicer but I wanted to get that water pump done so I could scratch something else off my to do list

tried to install my scatter shield yesterday....thatís a no go. I need a blanket style.

Getting ready to order gauge plates from Florida50, some wire, radiator hoses and some other small crap in the next couple days. The end is in sight!!!!

Get that over to Skaats Precision Motorsports in Hebron when you are done to get that dialed in on the dyno.

once I get all this little stuff buttoned up I’ll get ahold of nick for sure.

Drive shaft will be here today, waiting on my gauge holder plates, hook up shifter, leak test turbo stuff one final time and off to the dyno I go.

No real updates guys.... driveshaft in, both turbo oil lines installed, fixed missing nut zerts in hood, plastidipped hood and wing (not keeping this hood, so no point in painting and my wing had clear coat peeling bad) and I remade my shifter mount with thicker steel. Hood has streaks in it from not laying down the plasti dip down thick enough but looks better then white

If I can get some motivation I could finish whatís left in no time. Still needs:
-all 6 (bidding on boost gauge for a 7th) gauges wired up, tranny cooler fan wired, trans brake wired up, and make all my temp wiring to get it running permanent.
-install shifter
-install oil catch can
-weld a exhaust hanger on my down pipe and wrap it
-bleed brakes
-throw some sealer on and tighten down all tranny coolor lines
-drill / tap hole for hose barb on coldside of turbo housing
-install manual boost controller
-line up fender and drill holes in hood for hood pins
-figure out if Iím going to attempt to weld my subframe connectors on or have someone do it.
-figure out how to stop my China man Lokar knock off tranny dip stick tube to stop leaking
All piddley **** that could be busted out in no time

Last night I got my my tranny cooler lines all buttoned up, catch can on, fender bolted back on (bottom 2 bolts broke and had to drill them out) and my hood drilled and installed hood pins. Not a fan at all of hood pins but function over form I guess.

today I’ll trim down my throttle cable and start working on getting my shifter installed for good. I’d like to get my bumper mounted too so I can weld a exhaust hanger on my down pipe.

Car looks good. I'm not a fan of hood pins either but you said it, gotta do what you gotta do.

Got some small crap finished up last weekend.

Tranny cooler fan wired up, shortened my turbo return hose a couple inches so it had a more gradual slope, loosened up my my motor mounts and pushed my tranny to where it was centered, clamped down some random brake lines that were dangling, shifter installed and fully functioning, throttle cable installed, cleaned up some wiring under the hood, installed boost controller and ran some vacuum line to wastegates but ran out and ordered more, welded a hanger on my down pipe, pinted it and wrapped. Also had one fuel hose fitting that had the smallest leak ever so I drained my tank and threw some sealent on that fitting.

ended up ordering a universal battery tray since mine was broke and was going to have to cut the **** out of it bc of the fbody radiator. I have to weld my mount to it and paint it and it will be good to go.

i talked to a tuner last week (skaats) and he has a open spot on the 28th to tune it but I think I’m going to have to see if he has anything else open for mid to late July with how my work schedule has been lately.

Only things I have left to do is wiring up my gauages, finish my battery tray, mount coolant overflow bottle, bleed brakes and see if I can get this pos tranny dip stick tube to stop leaking.
