Nice, I'm sure I'll see it over there. I'm there almost once a week.

Going to order a maximum motorsports bolt in 6pt cage for it sometime this week. Want it to be ready as possible for the track. Still unsure if I’m going to weld my subframe connectors in or take it to a buddies and have him weld them in. My welds turn out good 1 out of 347 times

Well I’m going to maybe have to explore other options on a 6pt cage.

It takes 36-45 business days to get one from maximum motorsports.

anyone know anyone in the nky/Cincinnati area to weld a prefabbed kit in? Looking at Wolfe racecraft 6pt bolt ins too but their $250 more for the same thing as a maximum motorsports but with faster shipping times

Ahhh yes, sounds glorious! Congrats man.

For the record, I bought a rollbar years ago from a vendor because I wanted it quickly...I eventually regretted it and wished I would have waited for the one I really wanted. Once it's in, you pretty much have to live with it lol.

Talk to Nick about welding it in. If not, Tin Soldier Racecars.

Dropped the car off just now to have it tuned. Supposed to start tuning on it tomorrow morning.

Fingers crossed everything goes smooth.

Thanks! Me too. I just hate having to put 2k into a transmission by itself. Definitely putting a damper on my time with this car.

It’s still there.

He called me earlier and said its running on the sd80’s but couldn’t do any tuning bc my junkyard alternator was no good. He’s throwing a new alternator on it and I’m hoping to see some numbers tomorrow. Dragging the trailer to work with me in hopes of picking it up tomorrow.

Update

car partially done. Sd80’s in, 3 bar map sensor in, base/driveablily tuned but for some reason my fans arnt working now he said. He has to leave out tonight and won’t be back until Tuesday so I’m picking it up today figuring out my fans and will schedule a dyno session next week to see what it’s putting down

At least it will be driveable now

Man that looks great! This body style mustang will be my next swap vehicle, I'm 50% sure LOL.

1 thing I noticed is no fuel tank vent? I burned up 3 inline pumps before I figured out it was from lack of vent LOL live and learn.
