Default 66 chevy ii turbo ls

Hey guys, in the process of my project "dirty deuce", car is a 1966 chevy ii, lq4 stock motor, csu carb and a Borg Warner s475. I am primarily building the car with "spare parts" and trying to stay as cheap as possible. Just wondering if anyone has gotten the stock truck manifolds to work? I for sure expect to do some trimming and welding. Thanks guys

Good question, on face book, I think a guy flipped his up but I can’t recall if they fit or he had to mod them or the shock tower area. Have you set the engine in yet to see what it looks like? What about running a log setup like what hooker makes?
