Installed a new bumper.. what a pain!! I had to cut the old one off cause three bolts broke and they were in a trapped condition. But new bumper is on looking good and I also added the center rear trim

The cut-out issue with my car is over! After lots of testing and replacing some sensors I found out that the software version on my BIM module for the Dakota Digital dash was causing my computer to geek out randomly and caused the weird fuel pump priming issue as well. So I got a new BIM module with the proper software update and everything seems to be back to normal! (These are the cliff notes). Hopefully its all good for a long time now! Next is to install my new shifter and start putting some miles on it to work out the rest of the kinks

Just hate when a problem comes up and the source of it is something you would not think of . Glad you were finally able to sort your fuel cut off issues!

Thank you! Yeah my first instinct was to assume I failed and messed up something somehow, then next was to figure it was my higher mileage engine setup.. wasn't expecting a brand new part!

Congrats. Did DD do this through warranty? Even if not, I'm sure to are just happy to put the issues to bed.

They knew the problem and they wanted me to send my part in to get the update but I didn't want to wait several weeks so I bought a new one and they sent me a return label for my original and will fully credit me for my old. So far they have been good to work with on this and when I called them once to confirm a couple wires during install. But yes, super happy to not have this issue!

Thank you, I appreciate it! We didn't even need to really scan it.. but the process of unplugging and plugging revealed clues!

Back of the car is looking great. Great how we all get to learn and get ideas from one another!

Got the TCI Blackout Diablo shifter installed. Was pretty straight forward and I reeeeeaaaaallly like the look and feel of this shifter in here. Now I just need carpet

Another super cool thing is that since I got the new BIM module for my Dakota dash the shift indicator on dash actually works now!

Finally got rid of my power steering whine. I moved the return line to the lower port on my power steering pump instead of the upper one. Wish I would have done that long time ago. Also changed the transmission filter and partial fluid and it seems to be doing ok. Should be able to get some good driving in this weekend

Update! All I have been doing is driving the car around town after work and on weekends when nice. It has little issues here and there.. some weird suspension creaks and pops up front.. Need to figure that out cause everything visually looks fine. And I am getting some noise from the rear.. im thinking its just the tired tiny rear end.

I do plan on ordering a Quick Performance 9" for the rear pretty soon. Not sure what gear ratio to get.. I was thinking around 3.50? What do you guys think?

Took it to a really cool big local car show this weekend and my car got a good durability test. I had to sit in a line to get parked for 45 minutes and the car idled the whole time without issue. Temps were perfect and ran great. I didn't want to shut it off cause the battery was dead that morning. I have a draw happening somewhere that I need to trace.

Quick question Billy. I upgraded my rear spring leafs with the Hotchkis set. I went back to your posts (#229) and found the video where you mentioned the front eyelet brackets. Mine sit lower than the body line. What's the part# to bring them higher up?

Thanks!

New purchase is all here! This was a necessity to me if I plan on doing turbos down the road.. I just don't think my stock 8.2 10-bolt was going to cut it.

This is a quick performance Ford 9". It has some upgrades and should handle 600 hp no problem.
