First Build, 5.3L into a 2010 Nissan Titan
My first build is dropping a 5.3 into a 2010 Nissan Titan for a daily driver.
05 Avalanche with 4l60E, PSI Harness, Corvette Motor mounts.
Learning curve engaged.
Some unique issues. Converting Stacked Resistor Cruise Control to Switched Chevy System.

yeah that's quite the project man!
i personally would take a easier route with the cruise control and just use a single button to engage the cruise, rather than have all the features like accel/decel, off, etc.
post some progress pics man

I plan on writing up the build and have pictures of the project
the cruise control issue is actually easy for me I'm an electrical engineer and do this kind of thing in my job of 30 years the rest of the build is kicking my butt after i get this running and the bugs worked out i am giving it to my son who's a junior in college at trine university

Totally sub'ed for this. I have been tossing a similar idea around. I like the Titan chassis but like the reliability of the GM engine and drivetrain. I would say that owning a Tahoe and also doing some research the 4l60e can be hit or miss. Some seem to hold out for some time and some seem to crap the bed sooner than expected. I personally have no issues with my 4l60 at the moment but have been looking at a 4l65e (or upgrading the 4l60) when it goes. If you can get the setup squared away the 4l80e seems to be a much more stout setup but does taking some swapping of parts to work from what I can understand.
