Default Ls 6.0 front o2 sensors

Hey, I just wanted to make sure. Im doing a 6.0 standalone harness for a buddy, and I do not see any ignition wires for the front o2 sensors at all. Are these activated by the pcm?

Most people delete the O2 sensors AFTER the catalytic converters and keep the wiring for the front O2 sensors.

The ignition feeds for the O2 sensors come right from the factory fusebox. They do not pass through the PCM. At least that's how it was on my 03 LQ4.

The o2 sensors im talking about are triangle shaped, then the ones down further are square shaped and has pink wires in the c2 fuseblock.

I can not find any pink wires for the triangle shaped ones in the front

The triangle style front o2 plug is what I'm talking about . This is on a 01-02 6.0 harness. There is no pink wire. I was just trying the verify that this is completely computer controlled because they have no wiring tied to the c2 fuseblock

All the power and grounds are controlled by the ecm if you have the 6.0 computer and harness. The downstream o2 heaters are powered by a fuse in the fuse block. This info can be found at lt1swap.com.

I’m having trouble with my o2 sensors. I have the triangle style shown above, but my tuner says they aren’t getting hot enough to read. There is no power to the heater in the sensor. Can I just run fused 12v power that is only hot when the ignition is on to the sensor? Independent of the ecm? If so which wire is power to heaters and which is the ground for the heaters? I have a tan, a purple, a green and a green w/white stripe ..

I just went through this with my conversion. You need to pull the green and the green white pins from the ecm red connector. I ran a 15 amp fuse in the green wire to a key on source and the grounded the green white wire to the chassis ground location.

Awesome! I was hoping it could be independent of the computer. I will give this a try, thank you
