Default Oil temp sensor w/fan powered oil cooler

Quick question for ya s. Im running a B&M oil cooler with a fan for my turbo ed ls2 built nova. The oil cooler has a built in oil temp sensor, its 16x1.5. The other 2 ports(in and out) of the cooler are 1/2" npt. I ve adapted those with 1/2" npt by -10an fittings. Running -10AN lines to and from the motor and oil cooler. Heres the rub, real estate is tite under my car. Im happy with where the oil cooler is mounted(within 3feet of oil filter). But the oil temp sensor port in the cooler has to be plugged and sensor relocated. The sensor/pig tails wont clear the chassis. What is the easiest way to do this? My initial thought was to cut a -10AN tee into the supply line b4 cooler n adapt the sensor to that tee. But im having trouble makn this oil temp sensor(16x1.5) adapt to the -10an tee. Any other ideas/solutions? Fwiw, im gunna be running the holley dominator and would eventually like to control the oil n trans cooler fans with it. And of course temp sensors.

Im trying to avoid frankensteining fittings together. The further i move the sensor out of the "mainstream" oil flow, the less accurate im guessing it ll be

I run a fan on my oil cooler, and -10AN lines. My oil temp sensor screws into the M16x1.5 fitting in the block that sits right above the oil filter. In the pic below, the bolt head below the sensor is the rear most, driver's side main cap cross bolt. There was an allen head plug in this threaded oil galley fitting from the factory. Removed it and screwed the fitting in. Oil filter just below....

Thanx, I ll look for that on my ls2, i hadnt noticed it or would have known to even look for it. I think im going with these autometer thermistors and gunna control the fans thru the holley dominator. Than n i can get creative with them ON and OFF and pretend i know how to tune my junk! Lol

There's a matching plug/port on the very front of the engine beside where a low mount alternator would go - I used that one as my port to pressurize the oil passages and prime the oil system before start up; mine was a new engine. You can see that one in the shot below - same size threads. I was going to put mine there, but my alternator location interfered.
