Default BRP Muscle Rods Conversion Kit - Need Opinions

I have the BRP Muscle Rods conversion kit for my 1972 Nova. I got the kit through work on the recommendation of a coworker that used one of their kits on a late-70s Trans Am. Well, mocking up the engine and trans seems to show the engine pretty far forward. Everything bolted right up and fit well. Has anyone used this kit and experienced the same issue? The adjustable BRP trans crossmember only has one more rearward position of adjustment worth about an inch and the crossmember it self is slotted for the trans mount so I may be able to wiggle out anoth 1/2" or so. Thats of course assumimg I get different engine mounts.

Being that the TA and your Camaro share the same sub frame, I'm not surprised yours fits nicely. My co-worker had nothing but good stuff to say about his kit. Feedback on the X-body and early F-body kits are what I'm most interested in.

Mine worked fine.....I just used the motor mounts though....and used an adjustable trans mount from transdapt. ..with holley 302-2 pan

Thought about brp for the truck...but i just went with the cheaper transdapt mounts on the 68 c10...the nova was done first so i didn't know any better and spend too much for the brp units.....oh well.
