The issue I have seen with rear mounting, is getting the charge pipe, or in your case, charge pipes up to the front without either going on the outside of the frame rail or in the way of the front tires. Nothing wrong with it on the outside of the frame rail, its just personal preference. Those turbos look nice. |

finally got the 5.3 back from the machine shop. waiting on main and rod bearings to arrive and camshaft. decidded to go with a ljms stage 1 twin turbo cam |
Got the short block assembled yesterday. Went with king racing main and rod bearings. Also started cleaning on the chassis some. Waiting on cam, oil pump, and lifters now.
