No. The LS4 is a completely different block. It is made for FWD duty and is shorter than all other LS blocks, plus a different bellhousing bolt pattern. The only engine that will work in that car is another LS4.

Some were sold brand new to civilians even though GM didn't want that to happen. I bought mine from the original owner with 3,500 miles on it. The Caprices have 6.0s and 6L80es and are similar to the G8s and SS sedans. They were also sold with V6s, but they are extremely rare since the 6.0s were a no cost option. Not sure what G Atsma is thinking.
