Here's what I started with. The car had been gutted for drag racing and needed a lot of attention. No heat, no lights, no power window motors, wipers, etc.

Junkyard LQ9. Great shape. I was planning to use the wiring and computer but ended up going with a PSI harness, 411 ECM and a 2004 Vette DBW pedal so I could use a LS2 throttlebody.
Up on jackstands to remove the front suspension for Team Z goodness. New headlights added too.

Turbo mock up. Flipped truck headers with v bands welded on, 2.25" pipe to Turbo. Notch the frame rail to mount the turbo. Ended up moving alternator to passenger side using GOAT alternator mount.

Tuned by me with HP Tuners. 3 bar Speed density. First trip to track shakedown pass was 9.8@142 on 13 psi boost leaving super easy and shifting at 6,000.
Track wouldn't let me run anymore since the cage needs windshield bars. Would have like to leave harder on boost and let it spin but oh well. Should be easy mid 9's the way it sits and plenty of room to turn up the boost. The boost leash controller works awesome for anyone who is thinking of getting one.
Race weight was 3215 with me in it

That's awesome, where are you located? I've got a 55 Chevy I'm putting an lq4 in, single 88mm, Holley hi ram intake, deka 80lb injectors, a1000 pump, 239/247 .624 .624 cam, 317 heads with valve train, ls9 gaskets, arp etc., was looking into a Holley Dominator self tuning setup to run it.
Th400, 355 gears, 3000-3200 stall, pump gas. Any tips? Sorry to blow up your post

TECH Regular
That car is absolutely sick. I love it. I'm in MA too I'd love to check this thing out. Where abouts in MA? I forget if I missed it but were you running e85 or was that 93 with meth? I assume you ran at NE dragway? If you did I'd like to know how stringent they were about the tech. I want to run my car but don't want to drive it there to get turned away for something ridiculous.
