Did you tie into the stock fuse block for ignition power to the stand alone harness? I would have made an effort to ensure that I didn't alter that circuit during the swap. It sounds like you may have scavenged an ignition feed somewhere for the stand alone harness.

I used the purple wire but I also used the big reddish pink wire hooked straight to the battery to power everything up also I messed up once and even tho I don't use stock shifter it wasn't in park and wouldn't start so make sure collum is in park pink wire battery purple wire to starter also double check all grounds are good

do you have the wiring diagrams for both your 2000 s10 and your specific LS engine and harness? You should be able to plug right into s10 underhood fuse box and be good to go.

Do you have a power wire going from the battery to the terminal on the fuse box? If you don't nothing will work.

Don't forget about your Neutral Safety Switch, not exactly sure what all has been removed, but that may play a part in your issue.

im thinking its something to do with the Neutral Safety Switch but all that has been removed with the old harness,,,there is a new Neutral Safety Switch plug on the stand alone harness,,but I need the wire from the fuse box of the S10's starter relay to start with the key
