Thanks guys for all your post. I think it was completed around 2007, maybe a little earlier. Like I mentioned earlier, I know absolutely nothing about TBI, or TB, TS etc. I do know it had Street Performance in the pic below... if it post

I doubt a lot of them would bolt on, or easily enough to make it worth it anyway. TPI parts are not hard to come by, any auto parts store should have anything needed. TPI's were fairly simple, and extremely reliable. The one I had on my Nova I ran for over 100k mikes and it never gave me any problems at all. I put the whole engine/trans combo in a truck for a friend after I took it out of my car and it ran great until the day he sold the truck.

Pop it open to where the battery is. Maybe something there?

Is it no longer working?

Any way to repurpose another remote to do the same thing?

TBI is Throttle Body Injection, which the above is not. TPI is Tuned Port Injection, which is what came on Chevy Corvette and Camaro V8's in the 80's and 90's. What you have above is port fuel injection, but don't know who made it.

It looks like it uses the same sensors, injector type and throttle body as the old GM TPI injection. Possibly even the ECM, or after market version of one. I would look at it from that perspective.

I remember when S & P was turning that stuff out about 20+ years ago. Cutting edge at the time! Good times... but better now!

TPI Hybrid or port fuel? I’m really new, a true newbi when it comes to injected engines. My background is carburetors and circle track racing... Dirt. I’m glad you guys are around for sure. The performance is really good and I love the appearance, just don’t know anything about it

"She's a little Deuce Coupe"..... one of my favorite Beach Boy songs! And your car exemplifies it! Very cool!
But to answer the above question- It's a TPI-based system with a custom manifold and GM TPI sensors, injectors, and throttle body.
