Default LY6 (van) pulley options

Was hoping to find a smaller diameter power steering pulley for my project. It is an LY6 out of a 2009 van.

Can anyone give me some other vehicle models to look at with the same pulley alignment?

I tried one one from another thread on here that claimed to work on an LY6 and it’s 1/2” off. Assume they got their LY6 out of something other than a van.

Thanks!

A 90's S10 pulley will swap right out. Let me see if I can find my build thread that shows it. It was to clear the steering box on a 68-72 GM A-Body.

OK, so I was able to use washer on the installation tool to push the Dorman 300-202 pulley on further and it’s going to work, but I need to find a lower head on the pump mounting bolt.

Saw another thread where someon used a button head bolt.

Joke’s on me for now. By pushing the pulley on that far, the removal tool doesn’t reach......

See this page. I used spacers between the pump and bracket and button head bolts. Post 54

Modified this 2 arm puller to get the pulley back off!

Worked like a charm! (Can’t upload photo from my iPad....sorry). Anyway, it’s a neato puller, wish you could see it......

Now now I can use some spacers and button head bolts. Should be good to go.

Learning the hard way since 1964.
