Alright so I've made a bunch of progress, and ordered a lot of parts. I stripped the sound deadening in the front and rear of the car, I swear I pulled out around 50lbs worth not including the middle section under the rear seat I haven't gotten to yet. That **** is heavy lol
I'm still very impressed with how clean everything is in this car underneath the carpet, I've found no surprises yet. I started mocking up a bunch of things behind the dash, built a fuse/relay panel, plumbed the vents in.
Bracket I whipped up for the vintage air
Mounted and plumbed the vintage air, I still have to weld in an upper bracket for it but that'll be when I drag my welder out for other things. I mounted the vents it came with to the factory ones I cut up, I'm still not sure if it'll stay like that I'm not sure if I'm content with it, I've got to trim them up and see how it looks then.
Aimple aluminum panel I made for the relay/fuse panel. This should be enough to run everything I'll be adding to the car, including fuel pumps, intercooler pump, and methanol pump.

So just mocking some more things up while I wait on parts, I realized there's no way to run a 3.5" downpipe between the head and frame rail, so It looks like I'll be running the 3" off the turbo and the 1.75" off the gate separately, merging them together underneath the car. It's going to be a pain but I think it'll look pretty cool once it's done.
I'll be welding new tabs on water neck to angle it more in my favour and drilling and tapping the heater core fittings straight up and down to give me more room for the turbo kit. Every inlet/outlet on this pump has to be modified to make this work lol what a pain.

i have but I've never seen clear coat that doesn't ruin the patina on some level, so I'm just going to wax it to keep a layer of protection on it

its a corvette pump yep, I can get the part number off it if you need it. That MG has gotta be tight as hell if it's tighter than this thing lol

So I have a tubing bender on the way, and I picked up a notcher for the 10 point cage and tube front end. I've been working on designs for the front end, and playing with bendtech (which is awesome by the way), so here's what I'm working with.
I needed something that allowed clearance to work on everything, considering how tight it is, it needed to have the front passenger corner open enough to fit a good sized air filter for the turbo, but also look pretty. This is what I came up with, these are basically disproportionate scribbles lol I have it drawn up in bendtech with proper dimensions, I'll post a picture of that right away.

More mock up pictures! I promise I'll start building things soon, I've just been waiting on parts and time to get after it. My bender and notcher are here but I'm waiting on the dies still so I can't do any tube work yet. But I've gotten my hands on a tig welder I borrowed from a friend, and my trusty mig pak 180. I also got a bunch of parts in for the
A2W reservoir, I'll be using a rule 2000 pump in the cooler, and the feed and return lines will go through the bottom of the cooler through the car. I'll be making 3/4" hardlines to run up front. I would've preferred 1" but I'm tight on space, and for what I'm doing I'm hoping it's enough. I'm actually planning on running the lines behind the coilover up front between it and the framerail, through where the stock coil is sitting right now. It's the only way to get them up front cleanly and out of sight. But more on that later.
i spent a few hours and built myself a welding bench so I can stop trying to fabricate things on the floor lol
I also introduced the annoying and in the way lower rad support to the sawzall so I could properly mock up the A2W and radiator. Poor little guy, never stood a chance
