302-3 Pan Baffle Consideration

302-3 Pan Baffle Consideration
Pulling the 302-1 pan and putting in a 302-3 to get a bit more tie rod clearance in the GTO. I have to say that the machining on this pan is very nice. Much better than the early copy of the 302-2 that I eyed over when I first did my install of the LS-3.
I have the baffle in the 302-1 with the trap doors and to be honest with you, the car never sees a track. Any benefit to putting in the 302-12 baffle in this new pan or should the general baffle that comes with it suffice?
