There has to be a fourth seat for it to be a 12 passenger wagon. Whether or not it faces backwards I dont know.

There is a fourth row that folds up and faces backwards, the rear AC sits on top of it now so it’s not functional but it is there. I looked for pics of the roof and chassis and actually don’t have any, I’ll see about getting some. The roof has 2 welded seams running across it so you can tell what they did up there but the X frame looks factory, obviously it’s not, but the only noticable difference from a stock frame is bracing they welded pretty much the length of the frame from front to rear. Both front and rear floor pans needed to be replaced, the only good portion being what was added during the stretch.
We do the power tour every year and there’s always lots of kids that go with our group, they love it as much as the adults do now. I’ll take the wagon again this year for sure. More pics coming.

This was the extra “because this car is big” heater. It was under the middle row of seats and just blew right at the feet of whoever was sitting under or behind it.

Oh God! Don't turn that on, you'll have rat poop going everywhere!!! Well, I may have to try and do the Power Tour again this year just to see this thing in person.

I pulled all the suspension out of it, front and rear and did all new bushings and bearings. Had the stock rearend rebuilt with 3.73 gears and did a 4 wheel disk conversion.

Luckily the AC turned out good and blows cold, it’s hot in Texas in the summertime.

Nice job on the conversion.
Ditching the slave cylinder power steering is an excellent choice. They are really good at two things and one of them is leaking. The other is keeping the access door on my shop from blowing shut.

This is just full of WIN!! Very well done sir. The body of that car is in amazing shape to be so old. If only you had a small, period correct camper to pull behind it. That would be epic. LOVE this!!!
