Powertrain relay signal?
2010 5.3 gen 4 engine, e38 ecm, being moved to an older vehicle, along with the 2010 fuse box and a lot of associated wiring.
The powertrain relay in the fusebox powers up the ignition coils, injectors, o2 sensors, etc, etc. This relay is grounded(thus turning it on) by pin 59 on x1 of the ecm.
Will the ecm produce this signal if it simply gets the run/crank ignition voltage on pin 19? Or does it need a data signal to activate this pin 59?
At its simplest, my build will be signalling the run/crank relay from the key, and all else will work fine, without any info coming over the data buses. Is this doable?
