Default 5.3 4l80e in gbody malibu

I have already ls swapped a malibu with a 5.3 4l60e combo. Going to upgrade to a cammed 5.3 and a 4l80e. The trans I had gotten from a 2000 chevy 3500 truck with a 5.7 engine. Wondering what I would need to make this work as far as flex plate, driveshaft, etc. I'm going to build a crossmember. Any feed back would be great!!

I just finished a 5.3/4L85 swap in an '86 Cutlass. Here's the flexplate I used
ATP Z-270 ATP Z-270
I had trouble with the driveshaft since the trans came out of a box truck. I had to change the tail housing and use a counterbored yoke. You won't likely have the same issue.

I believe a 2000 3500 would have had the 6.0 LQ4 engine which has a longer crank snout so you would need a crank spacer on your 5.3 to bolt up to that 4l80e.

Um , what does this have to do with trany fitment ?

Interested as I have an 96 2500 with an l31 and 4l80 , that wants to be repurposed behind an ls motor
Hopeing its just a converter bushing , like when installing a turbo 400 , and that the computer will "jive" pl1 or e38

If you have a dished flexplate [pretty sure all 5.3s do] , I think this is all you need

I ordered this. The 5.3 flexplate only has 3 mounting holes for the converter
