Swaps just got way easier...Holley Terminator X
#282
I am hoping to get my swap on the road before then, but considering the terminator x max cuts my ecu/tcu bill in half I am more than willing to let the 3.5" screen cover gauge duties for the time being.

Yes. Or, if you're handy, you can easily add the EV6 connectors to the harness that comes with it. Or just sell it, since every Holley system uses the same injector harness.

2001 6.0 currently running an LS6 intake and injectors with the 2001 pedal and throttle body. It looks like these do not cover my pedal or throttle body so plans are for a shaved and ported TBSS intake with flex fuel injectors, Caddy pedal and either TBSS or LS2 throttle body. I can change the connectors, I did on my current set up.

In that case we would sell you a 58x harness with the correct injector plug and plug for your TB but then you would have to change a couple wires to convert it to a 24x. It’s easy and Holley even has a video on it. We would be glad to email you a quote for you need, just pm your name and email.

You could always run the basic Terminator X system and a standalone 6l80e/6l90e controller. Plenty of people that have done this with a typical standalone harness and GM pcm.

If you are using a later 2 wire PWM alternator, you can make it work with the Holley, but again, you will waste an output. If I had a 2 wire alternator, I would just get a 4 wire and call it a day.

I would not waste one of the 4 precious outputs for the alternator. If you are using a 4 pin alternator, just wire the L terminal to a switched 12+ volts through a resister. There are a million posts about this and Holley even sells a 4 pin pigtail that has the resister built in. I would also suggest adding a wire to the S terminal and running that to wherever your main power distribution point is located.

Thanks for the info, yeah, would like to use those outputs for something else eventually.

Sorry to come in late, but a control+F search for 'ignition' gives you no results on this entire thread. i tried to get the manual to open, but my tablet has an error. so, does this Terminator X system control the ignition timing or not?
i called Holley and was told that the wait was more than an hour. and then it hung up on me. pretty lousy customer Service, Holley!

Yes, the Terminator X has timing control.
