No, I had to use my originals and weld them in.

Not the best fit, but good enough
A little more wiring complete with the dash in, its going slow while trying to hide as much as I can. Long way to go.

Mike,

What engine mounts and headers are you using?

LSX inovations for the adapter plates with the original frame mounts, Speed engineering for the headers, inexpensive and they look nice but will eventually have to dent one of the tubes to clear the steering shaft. May make a change somewhere just not sure.

A little update, after procrastinating for several months I finally sent my pcm to get flashed for my first start up. I’ve had this 6.0 since 2014 purchased from a salvage yard not having heard it run. I did the harness per the LT1swap site which also did the flash. After about 5 cranks it started right up. It threw 1 code, temp sensor, but not having a radiator or coolant that was expected. Needless to say I was very happy, no obvious “bad” noises. Couldn’t load the video but here it is as it sits.

Knocked out a few things lately, radiator and fans are in place along with fluids. Brakes and MC are in place, tires and wheels are ready to install as soon as brakes get bled, driveshaft measured and ordered, machine shop friends are handy. Ordered up Pypes exhaust, just waiting on a brown truck, Pic is just before tires were mounted.

Very nice. My daughter has a 65 Malibu 6cyl that's 100% original and rust free and that's as rare as hens teeth in the middle of salt country lol. I keep trying to talk her into doing an LS swap but she likes it the way it is for now.

A few more things out of the way, or at least the steering shaft is. Don’t like dinging the headers. Brakes have been a bear to bleed but seem good, hope I don’t regret the manuals. Tires and wheels mounted, going to mock up the exhaust next.
