Swapped mk3 supra 4.8 upgrades?
I swapped my mk3 supra with a 4.8 from a 2003 1500. Only thing I’ve done to it was put a ls6 intake and long tube headers. I have stock 706 heads and everything else is stock.
Eventually I wanna go boost but for now I’m gonna do all aspirated. Can anyone help with some upgrades that might help.
Thanks.

Welcome to LS1Tech! That’s a cool build. I LOVE those cars. What tranny are you running? Your a camshaft away from a rocket ship.

Welcome to Tech.
You already have the LS6 intake and headers, all you need is a cam/springs/pushrods kit and you are set.
Something simple, like a Triple12 or 224r .600/.600 would be lots of fun, and still work with the inevitable turbo that will no doubt happen in the future.
Sweet swap, though. Keep us updated.

Your heads will be fine for now.
And I always recommend that you measure for correct pushrod length, but there are plenty of cam kits out there that come with springs and pushrods. They are usually pretty close to correct.

Gotcha! Yeaa I gotta find a kit that lets me rev this sucker haha. I’m pretty much a noob to the ls world so I’m linda lost lol. My cousin has a a black supra same year as mine with an lt1 so he’s been somewhat of a help.
