The engine brackets are designed for use with GM 4th-gen F-Body (Camaro or Firebird) LS engine mounts. You can use stock rubber or aftermarket poly mounts...Hooker makes poly mounts for that application that work great.

You will need 4th gen camaro clamshell motor mounts I think Holley just released their own version. Be sure and order the Holley cross member as well.

There is suppose to be a crossmember in the TKO kit from American Powertrain.

As far as I know, the American Powertrain TKO kit is for swapping a TKO into an A-body behind the OE legacy engine, not for mounting a TKO in an LS swap application. If that is the case, you need to be prepared to have to relocate the transmission crossmember forward on the frame and drill new mounting holes for attaching it if you intend on using the Hooker Blackheart 71221008HKR engine mounting brackets.

I cut mine up in my 65 Chevelle and just bent up some metal stock I had to make up the difference, then welded it in. Here is a pic of mid progress. And I too and still using the miserable photobucket

I just got done putting the 4th gen shells & poly inserts from Holley ,
plus the 302-3 pan, and the 006 forward engine mounts.

Everything fit like a glove. Haven't checked pinion angles and what not yet.

I'm still unsure if I need the cross member 3 pieces or not that came with the "Kit"
because I'm using a Chevelle X-member , cut , flipped, and rewelded.

Todd told me to check it all as is and see where I'm at first.
Todd's been a huuuuuuuge help and responded quickly.
