I'm building mine right now..... '91 GTA Trans Am. H/C 346ci LS1, stock WS6 catback with dual electric cutouts up front, T56, moser 9", american racing 17's with 315's in back, LS1 brakes all around, that's about it for stage 1 right now. Stage 2 will be to add a hood, coilover suspension, cage, all new interior, fresh paint, and a twin/single turbo bigger ci LSX.

My Dream LS Conversion
I'm already about half done with my 2000 LS1, T-56 conversion in my 1994 Miata it's got Kuhmo 215-40-16s, a Ford IRS 8.8 rear-end 3:73 Ford racing gears and the new Detroit Locker True-trac Posi. The car's lowered 2 inches, with KYB, 8 way adjustable shocks, adjustable sway bars.
My Ultimate Dream LS conversion would be a Blown LS7 (Whipple supercharged) motor in my current Miata with it all fitting under the stock Miata hood. A completly nuts "sleeper" for pouncing on the unsuspecting Porsche Twin-Turbo and Lambo owners!

a built LS1/2/6 (bored, heads, cam, FAST intake system, blower, list goes ON AND ON) into my porsche 951... custom exhaust system using the stock resonators off my GTO, i dunno what else... blue paint, new front bumper, coilover suspension, 993TT big brake conversion, fat tires in the back, uh... yeah. ultimately, a blue LSx powered 951 with about 600+ hp

a 70-73 camaro rs, swap in an ls7/6 spd with either a magneson setup just because it looks so badass or an sts setup for the stealthy look. Nothing too wild. I would want the body an artic white with a pearl tint, and a pair of SOM racing stripes and stock factory body, no fancy crap. A built 12 bolt rear outfitted with upgraded c5 front and rear discs, Bilsteins all the way around, and some fat swap bars. All 02 4th gen camaro interior(dash, ac.........everything) covered in a titanium grey color.....................or just a brand new 06 SOM z06

Turbo 4.3 Typhoon
You gotta admit those limited adition Turbo 4.3 motors in S-10 Blazers and Trucks were impressive. GM Race Shop's truck blew through 200 MPH at Bonneville with no problem.
I ain't goin' no 200 MPH in no S-10!

I've also got a couple of dream conversions.
1.) A 408 (or better yet 427) LSx into a 4 door 4wd Blazer (or Jimmy or Bravada). Set up for full time all wheel drive, 4L80E, C5 brakes, 18x9.5's all the way around, lowered a couple of inches. Nothing really extreme to give it away (except the nice wheels). Add to that a single T76 turbo (or maybe a little bigger, really depends upon the motor) and it ought to be a real fun ride. Even in the rain. This one I am going to build, just a matter of time (oh, and money, can't forget that)
2.) I'd love to build something like the Ultima or a similar appearing car (old Can-Am series styling). Load it with a mid engine mounted 427 & some boost and you'd have one heck of a ride. Keep the weight under 2000lbs and it'd be like piloting a small rocketship. Figure out a way to do AWD and you might even have something you could drive on the street without a 1200lb spring attached to the gas pedal.
3.) How about a MGB? Swap to flared fiberglass fenders, biggest wheels, tires, & brakes you can fit, and a full roll cage. Slide in a hot LS2 & a T56 6 speed and it'd be a good time. Buddy of mine used to run an MGB in SCCA EP. Thing was a rocket, and only had a 200hp 1.8l (and weighed a staggering 1900 lbs with him in it). I get giddy just thinking of that car with 2.5 times more power.

More Power for my V8 Miata project!!!
I'm only about half way finished with my LS1 T-56 Miata project and we've already installed high volume/pressure fuel pump and system to handle future upgrades to my LS1 like LS6 heads, new cam, etc. up to 650 HP but, I'm already thinking how sweet it would be to have a C6 ZO6 motor in there as a starting point when they become available as GM crate engines. Shouldn't have any trouble selling my 2000 LS1 T-56 combo, eh?
Anyway, DREAMIN'!!!!!!!!!
You can see my project at www.fergfab.com/gallery/
