Default vette vs f-body FPR

For those that havent been following my swap I have a 98 ls1 with a return style vette fuel rail with the fuel pressure regulator in the rail. I also have a f-body in tank pump assy with the regulator in the tank. It seems that it will not work with both regulators. So I can either remove the in tank one or: Can the fpr on the vette fuel rail be replaced with the pulse regulator from a non return f-body rail???

if no one knows if that will work or not, how do I remove the pressure regulator from the f-body sender/pump assembly?

If I remember your plumbing correctly, the only right way to fix it is to pull the pump unit out of the tank, pop the C-clip off of the regulator, pull out the regulator, and put it back together. All fixed.
