Well A couple of months ago my car caught on fire and the motor was slightly burned. The only thing that caught on fire was the Ls1 intake and coil packs, and the Comp harness and the computer. What do I need to make this motor functional again? This motor only had 18k miles on it.Could it still be good? <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

I would imagine that simply replacing the damaged parts would be enough. Parts like the intake, fuel injectors, coil packs, wire harness, PCM, and any other PCV/rubber lines. It's possible that a sensor or two may need replacing depending again on the amount of damage done. Mechanically nothing could have been hurt so I'd say go for it! Buying the replacement parts used won't cost that much either.

If you need a good used LS1 intake manifold or fuel rail I have an extra set that will go for dirt cheap! E-mail me if interested!
