LS1 + Z71? I am thinking of doing this conversion. Will I have a problem with the stock transmission bolting up to a LS1? Will the LS1 PCM be able to control the trans. or do I not worry abt that?

Re: LS1 + Z71? what year, if its the new 5.3 or any other LS1 derived motors, from what i understand, you unbolt the old one, bolt the LS1 in place, and connect the wires, as easy of a swap as you can get.
If its a 350 Z71...i have no clue what it takes.

Re: LS1 + Z71? It would be early 90's (5.7 hopefully) I'm just looking to make sure the 4wd will still work.
