86 Dodge Conquest (Mitsubishi Starion)
99 LS1,T56 stock for now.
Used the Holden front sump oil pan.
The trans tunnel is much larger now.
Plenty of room under the hood after all the turbo support stuff was removed.
The best i can figure is the LS1 is about 70# lighter than the 2.6 turbo 4 banger that was removed.
The T56 weighes about twice the stock five speed.
Should be right at 3000# with the stock leather interior.
Everything is in. All we have left is the exhaust, wiring and plumbing.
The rear end is going changed over the winter.
I am also using:
Howe racing vortec radiator
Dana 44 center section out of a Dodge Viper
97 Vette fuel rail, fuel pump and motor mounts
B&M ripper shifter
Full set of Auto Meter gauges
Lokar throttle cable
Stock wiring Harness
3/4 bore wilwood clutch cylinder
Hope to have pictures posted soon.

John, don't know if you want it or not but I'm doing a slightly built up 95 Impala LT1 and 4L60E into an 82 El Camino. Motor should be going in in the next few weeks.

Re: Conversion folks please list your conversion in here
John you can add mine, although I probably won't be starting on it for a few months. I'm still gathering parts for it.
-1994 Camaro Z28 LT1 Delete
-LS1 5.7L Cast Iron block (5.3L .120 over)
I'm going to have it ~stock to start just to make sure the wiring and fuel systems are ok, then the modding begins Stock LS1 heads, then GMPP CNC LS6. LT1 Cold air induction.
-Quite possibly starting with a built TH350, not sure on converter, probably like a 3500-3600 range. I'll probably install a transbrake, but not use it right away until I get the suspension worked out. I'll probably look into a T56 conversion after I get tired of the A3 since I can use the A3 in another car too

Putting a SBC 350 in a Fiero with a v8 archie kit. In the future, I will be replacing that engine with an ls1/ls6. Using a Getrag 5 spd transaxle and bolting up a cradle off of an 88 Fiero GT.
