Re: Conversion folks please list your conversion in here
Just came across this Forum and the Conversion/Hybrid section looks like a great place for information on LS engine swaps. We have an LS6 installed in a 62 Vette with information and pictures on our web site for anyone interested.
1) Vehicle receiving the swap: 62 Corvette
2) Your new combo, LS6; Tremmec 6-speed; Dana 44; C4 Suspension

Re: Conversion folks please list your conversion in here
I have recenlty installed a 1998 LS1/4l60e into my 1951 mercury choptop. The car is all traditional from the outside, including federskirts, wide whites, tuck/roll interior, and flat black paint. I used a haywire harness and the fuel system is a mutt. 1999 Corvette fitler regulator, walbro pump, stock rails, and 1996 chev truck primary filter. I don't have any pictures on my computer yet but hope to soon.

Re: Conversion folks please list your conversion in here
I currently have a 1990 Nissan 300ZX with the VG30DE(nonturbo) motor. I am pulling it today and will be installing an LS1 from a 2000 TA. I'll also be using the 4L60E auto tranny. If anyone has advice, it would be GREATLY appreciated! I was wondering also if anyone knew of a good header system that would fit this conversion?

Re: Conversion folks please list your conversion in here
I'm swapping a 2001 LS1 and T56 trans into my 1982 Camaro Z28. This will be the 2nd upgrade for this car, it originally had a 305ci with Cross-Fire Injection. In 1998 I upgraded to Tuned Port Injection and a 355ci engine, been really happy with it but finally gave in to the LS1 urge.
