Street & Performance Motor mounts $90
I just ordered a set from them. They were $89.99 for conversion motor mounts to bolt right to where the original v8 went.
saved all the hassle of making them and hoping they fit.
in case anyone wanted to know:

They are nice but then you have to move the alt and a/c up top with their $1000.00 bracket kits. I used motor mounts made by BRPhotrods.com. They position the motor a little further forward. Belt drive stays the same. Have to modify the oil pan to clear the steering link in a first gen camaro. Ohter than that, I like this method better. Cost is $170 for the pair.

Re: Street & Performance Motor mounts $90
I bought a set of these when I started the 3rd gen project. http://www.speartech.com/coproj-1991ls1.html
They bolt to the four holes on the LS1 block using flathead screws and then allow you to bolt a standard 3 bolt SBC mount to them.
They would not work at all on our 91 Z28. Custom mounts was the way to go. On the other hand, they would probably work on a street rod application and probably some cars.
Mine are brand new and I'll sell them for $75 shipped if anybody wants them. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: Street & Performance Motor mounts $90
I used them on the chevelle, and they worked out nice, though I did switch to vette accesories, which are very costly new. Another negative with the vette brackets is that if you want to supercharge, it has to be designed for the vette, and there are not many available yet. I have seen somewhere that holdens pan is front sump and can be purchased at GM dealers by part number.

Re: Street & Performance Motor mounts $90
Do these plates bolt directly to the frame or do the plates bolt on top of the old V8 mounts. Once the plates are in place how does the U bracket attach? I was planning on using the mounts I cut out of the donor truck I got my motor from and just welding them in place on my S-10. But if these plates are easier I will go that rout
