Default 1940 Dodge w/ Chevy small block - update (pics)

Rigged enough wiring today to test start the engine. Ran for a few minutes & it was a good sound to hear. The pics are of the truck in primer before painting it. Never again will I paint a car; the prep work is relentless. Anyway, most of the hard work is done & only final assembly wiring & a few tweaks remain. Can't wait to get the truck on the road.

ahh who needs fingerprints anyway

my buddies dad has a 40 dodge pickup, chopped shaved, blah blah. It has a carbed 360 crate motor in it , I 've been trying to get him to put in an LS1 since he bought it.....maybe this will seal the deal
